Born at Herschberg, Palatinate. Son of Johannes Seidler. By Christina Margaretha, daughter of Paul Ilgis, of Thaleischweiler (q.v.), he had an illegitimate son known by the name of Johann Paul Ilgis. Have left for America together 1750. Hans Adam Seydler arrived on the ship St. Andrew, 18 Aug. 1750 (S-H I, 435).
